One Self alone exists eternally. ... There is a Teaching which ... results in   destruction of all delusion & illusion & in the Realization of the Self.... the quintessence of Vedanta ... the Maharshi's teaching -Nome

Nonduality

Unqualified Nonduality is a spiritual Teaching found in Ch'an Buddhism & a few other traditions, but is perhaps most accessible as Advaita Vedanta's Ajata Vada.

Past traditional instruction  includes that of Shankara & Maharshi as featured here.

 Reality
Life Purpose

Reality is Infinite, Singular, Subjective, & Formless & is actually beyond concept or description. Known as one's  Existence. as Consciousness. pure Love, the perfect Happiness ever wanted yet already one's own True Self, the wordless Knowledge in response to Who am I ?

Awakening from the repeated Dream of Life as a Body in a World is one's true purpose - the only lasting Happiness, free from suffering arising by Ignorant Mis-identification. The Real Self appears in the Dream as Guru to dissolve the Mind into Self-Knowledge.

Meditation

Self-Inquiry taught by both Shankara & Maharshi results in Self-Realization/Knowledge known as Enlightenment & Liberation - perfect Freedom & Happpiness unlimited in Time & Extent - the Natural State of Sahaja Samadhi - pure egoless Consciousness.

Sri Ramana Haharshi compared Self-Inquiry to "finding" Space when digging a hole. Simply remove the obscuring "dirt" & the Space is already there.

Astavakra Gita also compared the Self to Space in being singlular, formless, limitless, & homogenous, though of course Space differs in being objective & inert.

excerpt from preface to "TOE" &

  more of Sri Ramana's Teaching

Not one of the thousands throughout history, who have directly known Reality, would trade this understanding for a billion or trillion dollars, any kind of destiny, body, mind, circumstances that Life could offer.  Call it Reality, God, or whatever you wish, there exists only one Entity that is more singular than Number or any Math or idea could grasp.

Consciousness is one excellent signpost correctly pointing

to the Self, the only Entity.

Self–Knowledge can be said to be the Ultimate, the Absolute.

with no separate Subject to know, or Object to be known.

Self-Inquiry by following the clue of the "I"-sense to the true "I" of the Self is "like the dog tracing its master by his scent.

The master's scent is an infallible clue & nothing else matters at that time, neither his visual appearance nor anything else.

To that scent the dog holds on undistractedly while searching for the master, & finally it succeeds in tracing him."

Ego-"I" is false, but if sought, seems to be inward in just the right Subjective "direction". Penetrating past the absence of the Ego, the Real true Self shines spontaneously to itself as Self-Knowledge that is as unmistakable as deep Happiness, pure Comsciousness. & the undeniable sense that "I exist."

"The Ego is like the caterpillar which leaves its hold on one leaf only after it catches on to another. The Ego's true nature is known when it is out of contact with objects or thoughts.

You should realize this interval as the abiding, unchangeable Reality, your true being."

Consciousness is the Absolute. prajnanam brahma

This Self is the Absolute Reality.

That Thou Art !

tat tvam asi

Who am I?

Not the Body, not the Mind, not an Ego individual in a World. Who am I ?

Self-Inquiry

Consciousness

when the ego dies, the Self is , only That which remains as Consciousness Absolute.

Consciousness is 1 & indivisible.
It can neither separate from itself so as to become a plurality, nor can it undergo modification,
nor bring forth out itself other than itself.

The perception of multiplicity is
the result of the activities of the  senses. The great variety of sights, sound, scent, tastes, & tactile sensation constitute perception of the World are without exception, the result of sensory functions.

This such that the World can't be said to be perceived apart from the senses. Sensory impressions constitute the World.
